Long time

Been a long time since I last updated my blog life been hectic and never seem to have any spare time. Still making things for my goody bag, its the box /bag i keep all my makes in so they can be given away as presents.

Still doing dressmaking, bags and of course cross stitch, also had fun making toys and other small items to make.

Back up and Busy

Finally had chance to get my blog updated, been ages since I had some free time to really get back to sewing and knitting.

Been busy one way or another, been making some make up bags.

Clutch Bag

Had an attempt at a clutch bag, its all machine embroidered

a pretty little angel with her gold halo all done in free standing lace

free standing lace - Tiaras

made a couple of free standing lace tiaras, red one, going to save, the gold & red one, i made for Katherine, but because i didn't have a solid hair band, i used some jewellery elastic and use that to hold it in place.

Wrapped button

My first wrapped button also called a leek button

Peacock Feathers

Been trying out a peacock feather design on satin material, the purple material feather is done using ordinary embroidery threads, the blue one has some metallic threads as well, the blue one was then made in to a small bag, with plated pipping cord as handles

flannel

been playing with some different coloured threads on my embroidery machine, got a lovely flower which really should all the details in it.

Katherine teacher present

One of Katherine teachers is now on maternity leave so i knitted her a white matinee jacket and machine embroidered a teddy bear on a flannel and hand towel for her, one very pleased teacher

Elizabeth school friend birthday present

Made a quick pair of clip on earrings and a bracelet

an old quilt

forgot i even made this as it's been in a bag since were moved, we now using it the sitting on the back of the sofa, it was a quilt i've mad for my daughter Katherine when she was about 3 /4 years old

2 bags

recycled a couple of old denim skirts which my girls didn't like to wear and made them into bag, which they now love.

Ironing board cover

had a mad idea to recover my ironing board using the original cover as a template

Latest items for goodie box

have a wicker basket in my dining room, where i keep all my goodie i've made which are gifts, hence goodie box

Latest items made to go in there are 2 hand towels for both my girls Katherine & Elizabeth

a couple of hankies for the other half with blue dragons on there

Parchment

i've done another piece of parchment craft all in white work

for mum for easter i machine embroidered a table cloth and a towel
